Winter Skin Care Routine

I thought moving south would spare my skin and hair from drying out..but NO winters down south are just as harsh. In my last post 5 beauty hacks with coconut oil, I talked about how I use coconut oil to re-hydrate my hair, scalp and skin. Today I will be sharing three of my new favorite skin care products. Ive been using them for about a week and just had to share! They are the bomb if you are like me and have SUPER dry and sensitive skin.

My evening skin care routine:

The first thing I do, when I come home from work, is remove my makeup.

I use Garnier’s cleansing water. This has been a total game changer. It takes off all my makeup without drying out my skin. My mom actually introduced me to this and Ive been obsessed ever since!

Next, I use Dermalogica calm water gel (c/o influenster) to hydrate my skin. The weightless water-gel based formula instantly moisturizes my skin without feeling oily or sticky.

Lastly, I use a few drops of Dermalogica barrier booster (c/o influenster) with my moisturizer (currently I use coconut oil) and apply on my nose and chin (those are my driest areas).

Seriously, If your skin is dry you must try these products!

My morning routine is essentially the same, but I leave out the Dermalogica barrier booster and coconut oil and moisturize with Nivea.
